Just ran 3.8 miles and I feel fabulous! I’m on my way to a 10k in March..Wahoo! :)
Brandon and I are currently discussing our options for either a) adding onto our current house or b) selling this one and buying another. I’m torn! I love both ideas! I’m just really ready to have some more space and extra bedrooms for the possibility of kids one day! The problem with selling this one is that we live on the family “compound”. Brandon’s grandparents, dad, aunts, and uncles live here. So we can’t just sell our house to anyone or the family would disown us for ruining the family land, haha. But Brandon’s cousin Laura is having house problems right now (mold!) so there is a slight possibility that she might want to buy our house. OR - Brandon’s cousin Valerie is in her 20’s now and could be ready to get her own house sometime soon.
There are pro’s and con’s to both ideas. So…What should we do?
Bathroom pic. I’m actually in a great mood today despite the rain and it being the first day back after a long weekend!
Brandon had his first basketball game of the season last night (church league). They went into 2 over times and ended up winning - suspense!! I realized last night that it is near impossible for me to sit still and be quiet while watching a basketball game. I must jump up and yell when it gets exciting :) I’m that girl.
I’ve got a 3 day weekend ahead of me and I am pumped! On the schedule for the next couple days:
1) Dinner and shoe shopping with my sister after work today.
2) Wedding tomorrow night - I am excited about this because I get to dress up!
3) Sunday lunch with my grandparents because they are leaving Monday for Costa Rica for 2 friggen months! I hope I can be world travelers one day like they are. If I’ve never mentioned this before, my grandparents are my heros. They are pretty awesome.
4) See The Dilemma at some point - Kevin James + Vince Vaughn you say? Heeelarious says I.
5) Watch One Tree Hill (my guilty pleasure that I’ve watched since my freshmen year of college when it first started airing) while Brandon is out of town and can’t complain about it being on! :)
Woohoo! This is going to be a great weekend! I hope everyone else has an awesome one as well.
I got these boots from Walmart.com! I LOVE them. I was a little weary about ordering shoes without seeing them in person and trying them on first, but I am so glad I bought these.
For Christmas I ended up with $150 of shopping money and $50 to Victoria’s Secret. I think I’m doing a really good job of getting as much as possible! I love a good clearance rack. Here’s what I’ve bought so far:
Skinny jeans from Old Navy - $30
Distressed Skinny jeans from Charlotte Russe - $10
Floral tunic to wear with leggings from Forever 21 - $13
Tan cardigan from Forever 21 - $13
Green cardigan from Forever 21 - $15
White cami (not a fun purchase, but necessary) - $5
4 VS panties - $25
Purse from NY and Co - $12
This leaves me $25 to VS and about $50 left in cash. I’m trying to find some brown boots and maybe even some brown flats with the rest of the cash if I can squeeze it. I love after Christmas shopping!
My husband knows me too well. I was craving guacamole big time last night, and he had bought some earlier in the day as a surprise for supper! Maybe I get too excited about food, haha, but that made me happy.
In other news - I am excited about Sprints and Bleachers, Wendy’s, and Black Swan with Tiffany tomorrow night! Funzies! :)
Since I haven’t had time to tumblr lately, here is a quick recap of life right now:
1) Work is a biotch. But I am off starting Thursday and I don’t come back until January 3rd!!
2) My muffler fell completely off of my car this morning. Nice.
3) Brandon and I opened up all of our Christmas presents to each other on Friday night :) Hehe…we’re like little kids!!
4) I am SO looking forward to all the family get-togethers coming up! Especially because my cousin Jerrod is going to be in town and I haven’t seen him in forever.
5) I am way behind on my Christmas movie watching. I need to get on the ball asap!
6) I need some new skinny jeans… my only pair is becoming a little too skinny.
7) Brandon woke up in the middle of the night (4am) and asked me to pop his back…lol what the heck?
8) I might be getting a cabin with some friends for New Years!! Hot tubs and pool tables are calling my name in a bad way.
9) The Survivor finale was on Sunday and it was awesome as usual! I also realized Sunday night that my family (mom, dad, me, and sis) has been watching Survivor together for over 10 years now. Wow.
10) I’m out of things to list, but I couldn’t end on 9 *shudder* :)
Brandon and I are pretty much obsessed with Big Bang Theory. We’ve been watching season 1 and season 2 on DVD for the last couple weeks. It is heeelarious! And I love it when I actually understand what they are talking about :) Last night we watched an episode from season 2 and they were talking about infinite loops, loop counts, and other programming type language. Love it!
